Lamborghini Diablo

Lamborghini diablo is a high-performance sport model car. It can accelerate 0 to 100 (kmph) within 4.5 seconds. Which was the first sport car of Lamborghini capable of exceed the speed limit of 320 (kmph). At first, Lamborghini manufactures this diablo at the year 1990. Soon, Lamborghini diablo took a first place in sport car models in the world. Gradually, sport car lovers fall in love with this amazing product among the continentals. Lamborghini gave the name of diablo to this sport model as the meaning of devil in Spanish.

The secret behind the speed of Lamborghini diablo is it consists 5.7L of dual overhead cam and 4 valves per cylinder version of V12 mid mounted engine. It has the ability of computer control multi pointed fuel injection. As the result, engine can meet horsepower and 428lb-ft of torque to reach its best speed of 325 (kmph).

Interior and Exterior

Lamborghini diablo obtains two scissor door model. Which allows two people inside the car. The roof is convertible makes the experience of the super car. Lamborghini diablo has longitudinal layout helps to increase the speed towards the air. When it comes to the inside this diablo includes adjustable seats, electric windows, airplane stereo system, power steering wheels and drive friendly rear drive mode. And there was no anti-lock braking system in Lamborghini diablo at the initial point. But later somehow, they added the anti-lock system to the vehicle.

At the early ages of Lamborghini diablo was equipped with manual speed transmissions. Because many car lovers love the feeling of control all speed levels manually. But with the time Lamborghini modified the diablo to semi gear system. Now there is a semi transmission of seven speed limits or fully automatic. This gave a great choice to people who need the sports cars with fully automated gear system.

During the period of 1990 and 2001 Lamborghini launched several models of diablo.

Diablo VT

In 1993 Lamborghini made Diablo VT with several derivatives from the standard diablo. It has a new addition of all wheel drive. As the name of VT, it has viscous traction. Like the modified version of LM 002’s 4WD system. This new change allows 25% of the engine power to front wheels in rear wheel slip. It improves the driving friendly and quality characteristics of the Diablo VT. When considering the front air intake, VT obtains an air intake below the driving lamps. It helps to cool the brake system. Like these improvements, Diablo VT made a better version than standard Lamborghini diablo. But with the basic four-wheel system, both cars are very same in visual.

Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster

Diablo Roadster made in 1992. This car has a cool feature of very small windshield. Also the windshield is attached to its doors. And the car roof totally removed. So, this makes a shape of boat in appearance. Because of the huge space of air intake engine can cool easily. Also, there is a tunnel in the middle of the engine to handle a better air flow. Which helps to improve the engine cooling. Doors were same as the Diablo standard model. Because of them has scissor type. Interior of the car has a unique color mixing to make the car more iconic. When it comes to wheels, this obtains wheels with unique body colors. Those features create a huge fan market for this car as customer cars. But Diablo Roadster was not given for car production.

Diablo SV

Lamborghini made Diablo SV in 1995. This is a combination of standard diablo and diablo VT. The major improvement of SV is the amount of horsepower. This car can reach up to 510 horsepower by two-wheel driving layout. Therefore, when hard driving, there is a loss of traction. This higher power output increases the price of the Diablo SV. Lamborghini implemented a rear spoiler as a standard equipment to this car. There is a new lamp system in this car included dual front fog lamps, rear fog lamps, reverse lamp and back tail lamp. Other exterior changes are an engine lid, extra front brake cooling ducts and large front brakes to help the large front wheel increased up to 18 inches.

Lamborghini Diablo GT

In 1998 Lamborghini company made the car diablo GT. This car obtains track-oriented iteration. Which are unique components in the car. The front air dam made with black carbon fiber. It consists with large brake ducks. So, the air can efficiently cool the oil using the central vent. Diablo GT has a carbon fiber diffuser with fog lamps and reverse lamps. Which are connected to front tail lamps. It caused to removal of rear, bumper and lamps completely. Also, the engine lid obtains a large air duct. And, most of the exterior body except roof and doors are made with carbon fiber material.

When considering the interior of the car, carbon fiber took a prominent place. Which helps the car to be stronger and lighter. Its bumper mounted reverse camera and full LCD screen for GPS navigation system makes the car more cooler. And bucket seats with 4-point seat belts, a small steering wheel change the interior also. The engine obtains the 5-speed transmission state. Which is same as other Lamborghini diablo types. But Diablo GT stands for some different gear ratios according to the taste of the buyer.

Diablo SV-R

In 1996, Diablo SV and standard Lamborghini models get together to build this super sport model car. As a result this car came with the hope of Ferrari in Lamborghini. The car exterior comes with Open ducts for front brakes and a diffuser instead of rear bumpers. Also electric prominent head lights, a carbon fiber spoiler instead of wings, side jackets and added pneumatic air jackets. When talking about the wheels, they came in lightweight hollow center wheels.

Power glasses are unable to see in this Diablo SV-R. Which windows came with fixed plexiglasses to give more sport look to the car. Although, the engine was traditional 5.7L and V12, there is a refused fuel and variable valve system. That ensures the power of 533horsepowers. Also, the engine is able to transmit the speed to 6 levels manually. Now this system is induced to the new generation Lamborghini cars also.
